I have been doing some test panoramic photos to test things out. It is going to be difficult, but fun...Still scouting locations and developing the concept. TTYL?
I think somewhere downtown would look awsome! Are you still considering making the book accordian style? I thought that was pretty neat. Good luck on all your testing and scouting! Can't wait to see some pictures!
i am wondering what it would be like from a bug's eye view. like on the ground, huge worldly like street. i am sure you will come up with something beautiful.
I've always loved locking at panoramic photography, especially ones of larger cities like NY City or Chicago. Pensacola does have some good areas that you can take panoramic photos of. You might also want to look into areas of the UWF campus as well.
I am stoked to see the location you choose. It should be as unique as you are.
There are some beautiful country roads too---the urban setting is fun, but lets face it, this is soooo not Chicago. I would encourage you to find a unique landscape that would be fun to phyisically interact with, and you and your photographer might be safer and uninterrupted. (just looking out to keep your frustration meter in the green;-))
If you are looking for a place to be uninterrupted, Allentown has some beautiful LONG country roads and wide open landscapes that may work for you. :) -Sarah
Maybe Pensacola Pier or Palafox?

Best of luck with everything. It sounds like a really interesting idea and I can't wait until we get to see some photos.

I think this could be a good project, I just can't wait to see some images.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea. I really like the page folding concept, as it is different from a paged book. It allows for a natural progression to the viewer.
